Help for Puerto Rico

Opportunities at Maryland Packaging for Puerto Rican Families

By: CEO Marwan Moheyeldien

In the wake of Hurricane Maria, millions of citizens in Puerto Rico have been left without food, water, shelter, and power – and this situation could last an additional 6 months for many Puerto Ricans.

Many have had their homes, businesses, and means of earning a living and providing for their families utterly devastated. Hard-working Americans all over the island have had everything they’ve built ripped out from under them in a flash.

This is a situation very close to my heart, personally. It pains me deeply to see such loss and suffering.

These are our fellow countrymen and fellow human beings who are struggling under near-apocalyptic conditions right now.

We would like to do our part to help provide relief to families impacted by this catastrophic storm.

That’s why Maryland Packaging will be opening 10 positions at our facility in Elkridge, Maryland to Puerto Rican families affected by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria.

For qualified applicants who are hired, Maryland Packaging will front $5,000 in relocation costs to help those families come from Puerto Rico to Maryland.

We will also be setting up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help raise additional funds to help with the transition and to help the incoming families settle into the area.

If you know any families who could be assisted by this opportunity, please refer them to this opportunity, or contact us at:

The positions available are:

  • Production Floor Supervisor
  • Forklift Driver
  • Project Manager

…with additional opportunities to be posted in the next two weeks.
