Batch Minimums

One of the most common questions we get asked is if we have batch minimums.

The answer is… kinda?

We have a minimum of one shift at a time.

That means that technically you could ask us to make only one… let’s say, granola bar… but we would charge you a full shift for it. So, you could do that, but it might be the world’s most expensive granola bar!

Okay, What About Regular Pricing?

Next, you’re probably going to want to know how much we charge to make your product.

As you might expect, we have to give you your least-favorite answer: it depends.

We know that’s not a fun answer, so we’ll give you a better idea of what it depends on:

  • How many steps do we have to process before we can package?
  • Is it acidified?
  • What is the process authority requirements to make your product safe and acceptable to the FDA or USDA?
  • What’s the volume?
  • What regulations govern the making and packaging of your product?

We know that’s not the number you were looking for, but the truth is that we won’t know until we sit down and talk about how your food is made and what regulations will apply to it.

All of this is necessary to make sure that when you get your final price, it will be fair and the best price we can give you based on your unique needs.
